Where the hell are they going to have that? The docks in front of the London Bridge Resort/ Heat are tiny compared to the Rivera.

I’d like to hear about the registration numbers for 2025 when it’s all
Said and done. I know a some are gonna do both but most I’ve talked to said they can’t do both, just doing SCFW.

The “edge” came off the original DS when they changed the (not a race) Poker Run into something else. That change was inevitable. The very popular open and public Thursday street party remained. No dock party will ever bring back the original DS Poker Run. The overall downturn seemed to coincide with the loss of Jim Nichols Sr. the original manger of the DS event. First met Jim while we were pumping gas at Terrible’s. Right away, he struck me as a Good Guy. He did a very good job with DS. And the time was right.

Can’t snowboard since my kid is sick and on oxygen with daily checks at the hospital

Yes.
The shotgun start had to go, so the event could get insurance.
It moved to group starts, based on speeds. Group 1 could still roll, but most owners were over it by that point.,

Early onset pneumonia is what they called it.
If we were not at elevation, she most likely would not need O2. Doing a round of amoxicillin and now has an inhaler. We are hoping today, her O2 numbers are strong enough for her to no longer need O2. We drive back to Denver and fly home tomorrow.
