How has the water level been lately headed up river to the gorge?
Thinking about camping up in topock and running down to havasu this weekend.
concerned about the level at the mouth of the river.

I was just up this weekend, water flowing thru Needles was at normal summer levels during daytime.

in my opinion the water level is probably about 70-75% of the highest level and consistent with summer levels as others have said!!

We went up yesterday in a 30 Hallett and had no issues through the river mouth.

We jumped in on sunday just below parker dam... It was chilly to say the least temp read 59

I see 50's from December through Feb, we crept into the 60's this month and should be close to the 70's by May.

I've seen the temps as high as 86 during the height of summer.

The easiest way to forecast the lake temps are to look at the average overnight lows in Lake Havasu........lake temps seem to stay within a couple of degrees one way or the other as a rule of thumb

Good to know but I was referring to the river temps!! Its usually balls cold even in mid July!!

This is the hourly link. In my experience, anything above 447, and I head up without worry. I am by no means an expert, but after asking a ton of questions and spending a bunch of time idling around down at the mouth to understand what is what, I think 447 is the safe number in a 29' V bottom.
