I just got my latest bill that covered all of the heat wave, I was a little worried with all the talk about crazy bills, and although it was my highest ever, I was relieved at $255, about $26 higher than the previous month. It looks like about $30 was the sure charge. Although the last few days are up there, I can already tell next month will be lower because of the one storm we already had and the one we should have this weekend.

Are you on one of their “plans”? I thought your house and mine were similar sized but I may be mixing you up with someone else, last month was 390 this month was 362 I think.

I think they have like four different plans and I don’t know what the difference of each of them is. Oh well, I guess I just burn candles during the winter.🤣

I don’t have AC in the garage. I only run the swamp cooler when I’m working out there and only if the dewpoint is low enough to make it worthwhile.

I'm about 1,690sqf, 18 year old 4 ton 12seer Goodman. No pool but do have a second fridge in the garage. Keep the thermostat 78 for the most part, 79-80 if we leave for a few hours. I don't have a time of use plan, I have the original plan. I pay a little more perKWH, but don't get dinged 2pm-7pm.

I had a Port A Cool to cool my double rv garage. I liked to work in the garage with the big garage door open.

Unfortunately this increase has already been approved by the ACC. It happened quicker than i have ever seen before. It would take a lot to turn it around at this point. An investigation into the CEO and board of directors would definitely shed some light on her $900 million worth of expenditures in the last 3+years that have not done much more than make her look good for her next move however, these people set themselves up to be quite untouchable. Half of that money was spent on an elaborate campus renovation to make TEP the flagship of Fortis Inc., which was/is a complete waste not only because it wasn't needed but because a huge percentage work from home now. It sure looks cool tho. Hundreds of millions in new generation as well that has been quite the flop.
