Who’s out during the tween weekend? (Not Mother’s Day / Not Memorial). We’ll be out tomorrow through Sunday. Gotta put some more hours in cruising.

This year my daughter has a travel volleyball tournament in OC, so we are hoping next week we are out at the river.

Plan B today. Didn’t realize our guests had never been on the water in Havasu. We went up to Topock for lunch, hung out in the channel for awhile and finished up the day in the pool.

Crazy how slow the last couple weekends have been. Kinda nice not fighting the crowds even on the weekends. Besides the channel that is, that’s my fault though. Figured our visitors should see it in person. They’ve spent most of their boating time at Bass lake. Definitely a different experience for them.

Perfect day out yesterday, water level was high on the river we went from Needles down to Thompson Bay then back up river to Budweiser Rd and floated around we probably could have ran up to Laughlin.

Serious potential disaster!

Besides the obvious illegal riding on the swim, step…

Most people don’t realize the carbon monoxide coming off the exhaust on the transom fills your lungs and makes you pass out. With your lungs full of carbon dioxide instead of oxygen, you sink. One minute your kid is riding on the swim step the next minute they are on the bottom and you can’t find them and won’t.

Don’t let people ride on your swim step!!

The boat behind them was a toon with 2 females dangling their feet off the front. The number of people sitting on “not seats” was staggering. Tons of rookies out. More people grabbing neutral through the channel than usual.
