Funny, just 5 minutes ago I said to my wife as we sit in backyard "that time of the year , lots of SxS's out tonight".
And yes it was a nice day on the lake today too. Water has definitely cooled down noticeably in the past 2 weeks.

We went to the springs yesterday for breakfast and it was great smooth water the whole way there. The dinner last night outside it was great. Only draw back was the water was a little on the cold side. But it was a great weekend. The sunset was amazing last night.

Weather is getting a little ugly this morning. A bit of clouds, thunder and lightening east of the city.

Definitely got a little ugly for a bit. Dumped on the North end of town. Just enough to dirty up my clean truck.

Awesome weekend. Temp stayed under 100 and water temp was tolerable.

Had a blast!

Worst part, got home at midnight and now traveling to the east coast for work.

We just had an amazing weekend. The high was in the upper 90s and the water was cooler but not cold. Swam in both the Gorge and by The Springs and the water temp seemed about the same while to me the Gorge is always colder. I will say even I wore a shirt while under way. Best part of the trip for me was after the wife canceled a trip we had planned for the RDP Regatta in two weeks, out of her fear it would be too cold, I convinced her we needed to burn fuel before storing the boat so we ran from The Springs to the Needles Bridge. Great run and stopped at Pirates for lunch.
