Havasu Fun Run Wednesday before Thanksgiving again?

Last year a few of us got together on that Wednesday and ran our boats. Looks like a couple of us our going to do it again. Doesn't matter what you own, maybe all meet in the channel and then run down to three dunes for a little bit in the afternoon.

I will be in town Sunday-Wednesday to do annual maintenance and some upgrades (electric hatch ram and new billet battery boxes) to the Howard. If all goes as planned I will be on the water Tuesday. Gotta head home Wednesday morning...

There was talk in another thread about a Schiada deal in the channel on Wednesday, and talk about just making it an RDP deal with a run to 3 dunes.

We will be in town on Tuesday afternoon. Need to figure out how to get the boat launched (and retrieved on Saturday), but we would love to meet some members and check out 3 dunes. Still not real sure where it's at.

Yeah same deal as last year sounds good, 12 in the channel and then three dunes for a couple hours. I remember last year we put the boat on the trailer at dark, it was really nice. And really cold the next day.

I'll be up with the whole family and I haven't had it in the water in 2 years. It needs to be serviced, impeller needs to be changed etc. Prob needs a battery as well.

Amazing how time flies sometimes, you better get on it or it will be 5 years before you know it.

Come on, you have like 5 boats. Load the family up and make the long run up with the family at 35mph.

Last year we meet on the point at the entrance to the channel and Thompson Bay. Same place I'd say?? Hang there for a while then run down to three dunes together like last year.

Flight leaves at 5am. Have to do some work outside of Pheonix and then we are headed north. Boat is at Barrett ready to go. See you kids Wednesday about noon.

I know its early, but I am bumping this. Looks like Thanksgiving week will be our second trip down of the year, and I am stoked! This deal was a blast last year, the weather was amazing, and the lake was flat! Hopefully a few will be up to do this little gathering again this year.

That sounds like a great idea. I was contemplating going to the dunes or river......but heck....why not do both since I have the time off.

I would change it up for a launch at 10:30, hang in channel until noon. Springs for lunch, over to 3 dunes for awhile and then back to the ramp.
