I dont know if this is still the case today but the Board will require additional funds. Repaving, redoing pool/gym etc - every owner will have to pay a portion of the total bill. Imagine them requiring $5,000 out of the blue because they need to redo the tennis courts...

I do miss our place at the Isles. If my memory serves me that was the Stettlers unit

I think those were close to million new, years ago. I’ve always watched them and I think one was available after 2008 financial crisis for 750-800 then.

Boy, those are Newport prices....I didn't see Havasu as a play to attain those numbers, but it's not the first time I was wrong.

10 years from now……..

Somebody is going to look at this thread and think, “WOW, I can’t believe how inexpensive it was!”

Said a lot of people in 2000 too. 😁

For that price, where’s the double 100ft. RV garage?

So true. My dad and uncle still kick themselves over not buying one of the green condos next to this condo facility in the 90s…

It is hard for me to judge value, since I live in SoFlo………

There are A TON of condos priced from 10million to 50 million.

My wife has a client that has a condo that over looks Boca Inlet. They paid 4 million for the condo. It is currently listed for $11,900,000. Not a bad profit. Great view too!

The Florida Keys is a killer location.

Lake Havasu City??

Not so much. But as they say...

There is an ass for Every seat. 👍🏼
Only place in Havasu with a private beach and they don't come up for sale very often. Still too much $$$ IMO though.

Irregardless of market speculation, $1,260 per square foot for a dated condo is a hard pass.

$2.75 million

I was hanging out next to this place during Desert Storm (a good friend of mine is an original owner). If I remember right this place that sold in April never even hit the MLS. It sold for 2.3 million and isn't even an end unit. It will be nice to see if your link actually sells for 2.75 million.

I wouldn't be shocked if it sold for close to or over asking. Units like this one usually never hit the market. Like the listing said, it is literally 1 of 1 and has been original owners for 38 years.

He's gonna make a couple of bucks no matter what it sell for.

Probably paid 80k for it back in the day? Awesome. 👍🏼

You’re buying a private beach. Not very many of those in Havasu

Yep, my buddy has said they have fought (lawyered up) to keep that beach private. My buddy said that the property line goes out to the middle of the channel and was owned before the channel was dug.

This. Have a couple friends that own in there, one purchased last year on the 2nd row and I thought that was crazy at 1.25... Another purchased a front row spot about 4 years ago but only due to his parents being original owners and knowing the sellers.

If I still lived in Phoenix……… I would seriously consider buying it. FIVE STAR location. Endless boat parade outside. Walk to everything! Private beach. Just ad a local Toy Condo purchase to the price, and you are completely covered.

I’ll admit…….. I’d like it better if it were on the 20th Floor, but that’s only because it would be nice to see the lake too. LOL

If you can swing it cool. And you better like it loud during the summer....Constant boats, people and stereos.... Buddy had one he sold a few years ago about 3 doors down. I couldn't believe how loud it was during the summer even in the evenings...

I like the location. One was for sale when we bought in 2020. I believe it was listed for $600k. I sent Stacy a text and she replied that it was 1/2 ownership. 😬. (. Damn reading comprehension is a bitch)
I do hear that “The Chair” celebrations for the huge burger/margarita are a SOB😂

Once they buildout the dirt parking lot it will block out the Chair siren. 😁 😁 Who know what other noise will be in it’s place though. I feel yoRe pain Don on the reading comprehension. Even a graduating for one of the top public schools in the 49th ranked state puts me in the same boat as you my friend. 😂😂😳

IIRC just around $100k-$125k??? The site originally had 7 tennis courts. RPM Sr and RPM Jr were big tennis players. Condos built in late 80s??
