Question my daughter is in Havasu and she is driving around and she doesn’t see any ballon’s and I looked on the webcam at the bridge and I don’t see anything ?

They were behind the Hampton Inn on London Bridge Road last night and this morning. That is base for the event.

All the awesome bridge pics were from todays 7:45 AM: Mass Ascension (Balloon Field) .

Just read 4 people died over the weekend south of Phoenix in a balloon crash. 13 on board originally, 8 parachuted off it successfully as planned but shortly after the jump the balloon had a catastrophic failure and fell to the ground, one died on scene, 3 others succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

I wonder if parachutes are standard equipment in every basket?

It's moving away, so shouldn't be a problem. They won't go before some daylight anyway. It's all about the wind.
I'm headed that way for the car show part, but not going if it's raining, but should be gone in just a few minutes.

We made it down this morning. Only the coke ballon was able to dip his basket while we were there. He also trimmed the trees as he was pulling out.

That White boat was our group favorite. Very nice. We saw the Coke boat touch down. Waited a bit and pulled the plug.

We were in the bird cage at the Chair and saw the Coke balloons. Then walked to Cha Bones and to have a few rain drops hit us and then see all the balloons being taken down.

Looks like there are a few balloons still in town. Maybe giving out the rides they booked but could not get them up because of the weather.
