Anyone know if Parker airport is still selling AV to the public? I am coming out next week and need 25 gallons (5 gallon cans).
The Mobil used to be 110 octane. Did that change?Parker oil off of industrial and Kiowa still sells 100LL a the pump as well. Last time I filled up it was like $7ish a gallon. Mobil on havasu Ave was $10 a gallon. Funny thing is I can get it at Oxnard airport for 6ish a gallon. View attachment 1454883

I wonder why the Parker Oil location is charging so much now. Used to pay $5-6 a gallon for AV even when 91 was $4-4.50 a gallon.

Not anymore unfortunately. I am driving out to Havasu this week to check the house, and I will check Parker Oil. Thanks for the info. The way I got the hookup at Oxnard is a buddy keeps his plane there and is bros with the fuel guy. You know anyone at one of the small airports around San Diego?
Actually you may be right. Sundance has 110 now that I think of it.
When they yanked av fuel and they went to 100LL seemed the price went up.
Unless something changed again, Parker Oil didn’t go back to selling 100LL and they have 110 now at like 10 bucks a gallon.
Unless I can’t read or they moved the pump..
So I got the 110 at Sundance Mobil in late October. It's still Sunoco RACE gas and $9.999/gallon. It's been the same price for years. When’s the last time you checked? In April they switched from AV fuel to 100LL it was right around SCFW because they had nothing for a couple weeks while they switched the tanks out. That’s why I got 110 at Sundance. But then in May ish we were back and in July and filled up with 100LL at Parker oil.
I want to say it’s this pump. And it’s written with a sharpee on the pump. Matter of fact, dude filling up a schiada next to me last time looked at it and was like “instills a lot of confidence huh?” Lol View attachment 1454885

I also fueled up my other boat at Parker Oil LHC and it is now 100 Octane Unleaded at $8.65/gallon as of late October.
It's no longer 100 LL AvGas, The pump has a Red Sticker on it and it's where Tank shows in the pic above.
That was at end of October........Parker Airport is still selling AvGas to boaters

The Sunoco 110 has no ethanol but from barrels only at Parker oil In Parker, it has leadIs the 110 ethanol free? I can buy Sunoco race gas in SoCal from the pump, but it has ethanol in it. Don't want any ethanol.
Right?!? It's prolly a requirement in Kommiefornia to be at least 10% ethanol regardless of octane rating. The good news is, anything that requires high octane means you get WAY more SMILES per gallon (Tank's line), than miles per gallon, so you burn thru it fast and it doesn't sit in the tanks. Ethanol is good for octane, but bad for everything else.I googled it and it said it was ethanol free. I would say California would be one of the only states that has ethanol in their 110. That’s just nuts.
Sounds like the place I buy from in SoCal. Anything from the pump has ethanol. You have to buy from the drum or cans to get ethanol free which requires filling out paperwork. Thanks for the info. The Sunoco 110 has no ethanol but from barrels only at Parker oil In Parker, it has lead
The Sunoco 100 SS that they sell at Parker oil at the pump has 9.5% ethanol And is unleaded
The 100 pump gas at Parker Oil is not ethanal free, it’s Sunoco 100 SS which is 9.5% ethanol. They have 91 unleaded ethanol free.Right?!? It's prolly a requirement in Kommiefornia to be at least 10% ethanol regardless of octane rating. I believe the 100 unleaded at Parker Oil is also "ethanol free"
Good luck in your search. Keep the rest of us updated on what you find. Might save somebodies motor(s)
A few of us on here have heard that Teague recommends using octane booster or mixing 100 or 110 octane with 91 in Havasu, as it's usually not meeting the 91 octane advertised at the pump. Just something else to keep in mind.
Leaded no ethanol. This is the actual 110 pump at Sundance Mobil. I took this picture. I'm in town for the next few days, I'll cruise by tomorrow and see if it has any info regarding the Ethanol content tomorrow.

This is an interesting ez-reading article from a Penn State Research Professor " Fuel Ethanol: Hero or Villain ? " that covers most of the pros and cons.Someone explain to me why the ethanol is bad. I need a fuckin flow chart to understand 100LL, 100SS, 91 non ethenol, race gas, Avfuel. Fuhhhhh. Anything over 100 I just lump it into one group and mix it 50/50.
They weren’t selling AV gas as of a month month ago before the Enduro.Anyone know if Parker airport is still selling AV to the public? I am coming out next week and need 25 gallons (5 gallon cans).
Oceanside Airport will still sell AV gas into 5 gallon jugs.I wish I could find a hookup down here in San Diego.
Big Motor Problems. Us peasants don’t need to worry about that shit. On a real note I’ve never understood it either.Someone explain to me why the ethanol is bad. When I was looking for Non-Ethanol gas for my little honda generator here in HB . . . 'Lowes' has it . . . .
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . . . . for 1 gallon ??????? . . . . . fffuuuuuuuuuuu . . . . .

Fucks up anything with a carb on it. My Cobra does not get driven much and if I let ethanol sit in it the carb goes to shit. It only has 8k miles on it, but I have replaced the carb once and been through numerous rebuilds. Same with all my equipment I use on my property. If I run non-ethanol I have zero issues. Ethanol also attracts water so I don't like using it in the boat that lives on a lift.Someone explain to me why the ethanol is bad. You sure about that? It's been a while but the last time I went there they refused to sell me fuel. They would not even let me put it into cans let alone bring my boat to the pump. That would be awesome if true because I am only a few miles away.Oceanside Airport will still sell AV gas into 5 gallon jugs.
Sunoco 110 in cans shows no ethanol on their website. Is the stuff at the pump the same? If so, I will mix with non-ethanol 91 but the Sunoco I buy at the pump in California is not the same as the stuff that comes in a can or drum.Leaded no ethanol.
