Just asking cause we’ve only been out one time this summer and doubtful we’ll go for Labor Day.

also seems like a lot of my buddies haven’t been out much either. Not sure if it’s inflation costs, fear of spending money, or not able to find time.

Depends what group. Every time I go I see the same people all the time.

The typical places we hang have been MUCH slower this year than the past 3-4 for sure! Where there would typically be 100 boats on the sandbar, there is 30-40.

I did one trip…couldn’t find the time to do more. Last year only did 3. Sold all my shit a few weeks ago because it’s stupid to keep it all up for one or 2 uses per year.

Might revisit things in a few years, might not. Dunno

We usually only boat on weekdays so typically it’s not very crowded anyway. We only got out a couple of times so far but the times we were on the water were a little less traffic than normal.

Excessive heat. a lot of units quit cooling at flirting with 110F. Swamp coolers may wet bulb out before that too too.

Memorial seemed busier than ever. 4th was slow if you ask me. Dam run Mojave seemed pretty slow as well.

I'm on the river right now, kinda slow for a Friday, but it's a little windy on The Strip.

Only one trip to the Parker with family this year and a few to the local lakes. Changing jobs didn’t help.

We've boated 5 times this year, that's 3 more than last year. I still only have maybe 260 hours on our 02 so that's pretty good.

We haven't been to Havasu since June 16th. Work has been crazy busy. We are finishing up a big job and will be going to Havasu for a week in September.

We are at the springs and despite coming out Memorial and July 4th, among many other non holiday weekends, it’s been super quiet this year. At least insofar as the the 700’s area, just less people at their places. Though I know the holiday weekends the park was full, so probably just not seeing the crowds.

7 trips to Havasu since I moved into my Islander seasonal spot in April.
4 days of boating :(

1 - April - 4 nights - Move-In / SCFW - zero boating
2 - June - 2 nights - 2 days of boating
3 - June - 3 nights - Packed up ToyHauler trip 1 - zero boating
4 - July - 1 night - packed up ToyHauler trip 2 - zero boating
5 - July - 2 nights - sold ToyHauler - zero boating
6 - July - 1 night - stopped while driving new RV home
7 - Aug - 3 nights - moved new RV into Islander - 2 days of boating with daughter

between now and October move-out, we have 3 trips planned and 9 days of boating

Damn granddaughter ruined this boating season. 😂. Just kidding, been a great summer, just not a lot on the water. We’ll be on the water tomorrow. Need to burn some fuel.

Obligatory pic 😍.

I felt like July was pretty busy but come August it seemed to slow down a lot. Overall this year definitely seemed quieter than last. We had several groups of friends come out which resulted in Saturday boating trips, never much issue finding a parking spot at Windsor. It certainly seems like the trend has been to go up river.

POV: live in havasu, see the lake from my work, hear the boats going up river from my house and boat every weekend.

Boated about 30% of normal but been in Havasu 200% more this year. More house work than boating. But….House is complete now so more boating. Had to put an impeller in today so no water time. Plan on getting out early tomorrow and staying out late to make up for it.

This is a normal season for us. Fairly consistent 5 day stays Starting October until May monthly except February.

Its random weather we boat, shoot, off road, or just sit on the beach. Its nice to be able to work and still be there in Parker.
Someday we will own but Emerald is still working for us even though they are getting a little money hungry.

We have just been slammed with work and trips for 40th birthdays in our circle this year. Haven’t gone as much as we like but still a decent amount. We made the major holidays plus some more but I will say Father’s Day weekend felt busier than the 4th of July this year. Havasu doesn't seem to be suffering from low turnout when we are there.

I have been working around the clock. Just got home now about to cook dinner. Only used the boat and skis twice this year. To many jobs going. Going next weekend and going to upset some customers and Try to spend half of October out there. Last year missed all of October worked every day.

Boat has been a major project the last 2 weeks, I wouldn't recommend doing a engine/fuel system/ignition system change this late in the season. That said, it will be 2 weeks this weekend, we'll be on the lake tomorrow testing...
