I heard that Hemp is far better than corn. Just cant grow it legally. Actually Ron Paul mentioned that bit of info.
That yield for the algae sounds pretty damn good.

I saw that on a show a few months back. It kind of made sense to me, besides, corn is for eating and making moonshine anyways

Wasn't there a problem with some algea that was so thick on the rivers it was clogging up the pumps or water passages? I read that somewhere some time ago on ummm......ummmm.....sorry, Hotboat :swear. Anyway, it was taking over and choking the other water plants. I didn't look into it too much since living on the salty coast, I don't have this issue.
