I gave my wife the choice of what we were going to do, and she said she'd rather stay home after being away all week. So I whipped up a giant batch of Shepherd's Pie and we just plopped down in front of the TV.

You all stay safe tonight and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

They're having a busy day/night in Havasu! The 3-4 hours we was in town the sirens were nearly non-stop!

I worked every St Patrick's day for the 8 years I ran 911 calls. I ran at least 1 fatality each year, St Patrick's day was the only day of the year guaranteed to have a fatality. We stay home
Damn man. And I’m ubering. That wasn’t very positive. I understand though. I was a big dumont guy for years. Like 22/23 years. Got tired of watching flight for life every time.

St Patrick's day is unforgiving, I didn't have a fatal on Cinco de mayo, July 4th or labor day ever. 1 on a new year's day and 1 on Memorial day. I always worked Cinco de mayo because I'm not much of a drinker and worked most of the others but not all

A soon as we turned the corner from the Nautical, the Police had a guy in a SxS doing a sobriety test.

Fun! So much history. Have a drink here if you have time. George Washington, Ben Franklin & Paul Revere all drank there.

I stopped by there today while doing some of my historic exploring...I may do a thread about this trip. I have had a blast...my encounters with the locals have been awesome. Going to the parade in the morning before I leave late tomorrow night. Met several of the Dublin Fire Brigade who are here for the weekend..those guys were something else and really made my trip along with the Boston Fire fighter I met who steered me in the right direction of places to see/go etc... The people here are really awesome to be around. Boston definitely now falls into my top 5 cities in terms of places I'd go back to. I'm coming back out here next year for sure.

It's a really fun town, since it's mostly laid out on the carriage trails you can take in a lot on foot.
