#6s and 600s ought to be a bulletproof package!! Nice boat, rigging looks great!

The 600 SCI's are here for the 400, we pre rigged them for the stage 3 Whipple kit. After the warranty on the engines are up customer is going to bring it back and upgrade them.

Subscribed. :)

I love me some twins.

Are the engines staggered? The drives look pretty close.

Pretty sure that is a standard side by side set up. If it were going to be staggered, one pair of the stringers for the engine mounts would have to extend into the area that the fuel tank is currently in. Also, the rear bulkhead in that configuration would be in the way.

What's up with green tape on the side of the boat?

I recall seeing pricing on the bigger Halletts before it all went away and I thought the 40 was based with 520's and Bravos and it was around 375k with that package. If this boat really has 6's on it, I'd say north of 400k for sure.

Yes the hull is from 2016 but it’s the new bottom so I agree it would be considered a few years old and therefore a litttle less valuable if the bottom were the same old thing. I’d think you’d get a little value back because of the updated bottom and the fact there’s only two of them so far.

I only knew of this one which was number 1 and it sat in the corner of the big shop and the 1100 boat which was number two and built basically at the new little shop before Nordic took it. But, you would know better than anyone so who’s got the third one?

The Gen2 40 original bottom worked well. I think Jerry saw how well the 29 worked with the Peter's design he adapted it to the 40. Nordic had to do quite a bit of work to make it work right.

I'm guessing they fixed this one as well???

John's 40 is the original bottom right?

I think it is. I can’t remember off the top of my head.

And yes, I believe Thane said at the boat show in 2018 that they were fixing this one. This was right after they did everything with the open bow 400 with the 1100’s

Weight isn’t much more than a lot of heavily laid up 34’ or 35’ boats.

It’s still heavy but I don’t think it’s quite in the need of a goose neck.

Hallett has it at 14k. That has to be on the trailer.

If the owner of the boat was going to tow that boat back and forth across the country for poker runs and boating at other lakes or Florida, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to goose neck the trailer. Definitely easier on the tow rig and the driver even at 14K. It would be a beast for local boating otherwise.

I'm no engineer, but that seems like a lot of stress on the four bolts holding the hitch coupler to the frame of the trailer. o_O

That has to be temporary to move the trailer around. The guys at Adreneline build some of the nicest trailers in the industry.

Actually it’s pretty commonplace on large boat and equipment trailers.

This is a 47 Fountain with QC4’s, and I’m pretty sure the boat itself weighed in around 12,000 lbs.

I’ll take 4 bolts in the trailer compared to 2 bolts in the truck hitch...
