This thing looks really nice!!

A lot of boat for $55K

Mint condition 1995 Hallett 300T 30'er with 470 gentle hours. Twin 502 Cid. EFI motors. Bravo I drives, hydraulic trim tabs, depth finder, tuned SS props with spare set, 4 new batteries. Serviced annually, ie, impellers, oil, drive oil, and filters. Nice sound system w/ Bluetooth. Lots of storage space, cabin fans and hatches for those warm evenings. Can't beat the 30. One of the best overall family boats. Does everything well.

I’ve been looking at the listing for a week. If it had a side door it would be more appealing for our use. Looks like a good looking sled.

What’s a weekend look like fuel wise on a 300?

Assume Friday nautical to topock and back.

Saturday Nautical to dam and back with water sports in between.

Sunday jump rock to sand bar and back

Holds 175 gallons. My buddy's has 496HO's. Runs all weekend. Running on Mead boulder harbor to middle point and back a few times plus watersports. He likes to cruise right at 4k also, 50-55 mph.

Where in the hell were all these fucking things when I was looking for one? That's two in a row that are "fuck me running" cheap.

Someone reversed the rotation on those props by the way.. (Look at the drive showers)

Beautiful boat.
There's something about a yellow on white 300 that just looks right.

my 27 with 383's is roughly a 50 gallon a day habit for a mead run. for a powell day 70-80 gallons.

I would imagine this thing to easily gulp down 75 gallons a day for typical use. with fuel approaching $4 a gallon.....think $300 a day to operate.

sounds like a lot.....then again take the kids to Disney for a day and see what that sets you back.

if I didn't have my 27 I would be all over this boat.

I was thinking way worse.

A 300 and keep the vector wouldn’t be a bad combo.

Easily added. Not super necessary though. Pretty manageable without it.

With 5 yr old twins girls that side door is needed, and if we have family with their twin 6 yr olds it’s for sure needed. Wouldn’t want them running on the deck all the time to get off. And god for bid if they have to get wet sometimes and swim to shore off the back.

Raise the drive and anchor it off the shore. Vdrive style. :)

Unless you have a guard, beaching it jacks up the keel anyway.

There was a Blue/silver/purple 335 with 600s owned by someone at the Islander. Stunning boat. Saw it listed for sale a couple years ago.

Was wondering about that. So MOM listed sleds don’t get sales taxed?

From what I understand they do get taxed as it a dealer consignment or not it doesn’t matter. Just like you pay tax at the Barrett Jackson auction or estate sale.

That doesn’t mean you can’t try to talk a consignment dealer into passing the title under the table. Im not sure they would risk their entire business on helping you reduce your taxes but who knows

I thought they would be subject for taxes, but never used their service. Some of those DCB’s must have some hefty tax bills. But then again what’s another 20k on a price tag for one of those.

Perhaps out of state delivery can be worked out. Lol.

thats a starting price and if its a consignment boat like most of there stuff I don't think there is tax in AZ

As long as you buy it from the "owner" and nothing is on MOM letterhead, that is true.

Mine has HP500EFI's and I can run Friday and Saturday, one day down to the Springs and the other up to Topock with some tubing/wakeboarding in there and spend about $200 for the weekend. I also run it pretty hard at time going both down and up the lake/river for that same $200.
