There is this small cover of some sort in the middle of my floor but I don’t see any fasteners, does anyone know how to get this off? I’ve pulled on it and it is snug and tight

Totally unrelated but did you lose a red ski vest last year at Parker on the weekend of the tube float? If so I have it.

Can you see inside compartment thru the door in floor right in front of seat base?

Mine has a pull up pin. Has the boat been re-carpeted? I wonder if the pin got covered.

Might need to use a wedge/shim of some sort.

210 have a belly tank. The only thing under there should be the top of your aluminum fuel tank. The tanks are made by IMCO. I replaced mine two seasons ago.

Does yours have a small ice chest type compartment just in front of the rear seat and behind the cover I’m referring to as well? When I try to feel through the carpet for any type of latch or fastener I can’t tell that there is anything there.

I want to say a 26 but now I’m not sure lol, to much prop talk over the winter. I just dropped it off in havasu or else I’d look and tell you

Does yours have a cover line this in the same area? I’m thinking this is where the fuel line and send unit are but can verify without opening

No small door is just a small compartment with a drain plug in it,

My hatch is that “ice chest”. Mines a vector with saddle tanks. But that hatch looks identical to mine.

Mine does not, I have an I/O. I wonder if the outboards have a smaller tank.

I was thinking you could possibly reach forward and feel for blind bolts hanging down.

It's likely that instead of a belly tank, the tank was rigged in the rear of the boat behind the rear bench seat where the inboard engine isnt.

If it cant be pryed up with a butter knife, I'm in agreement that there are probably screws buried in the carpet. It's amazing how those little burgers disappear.

Has anybody ever seen this happen? Was having the sending unit replaced and a couple fuel tank fittings over the last couple weeks, picked up the boat and the interior is discolored. The boat was stored with the cover on. Could it be from fuel fumes? I haven’t tried to clean it with any cleaner yet

Others have posted with that problem, it looks like mold. The cure is to leave it in the sun for a day or two.

Evaporative fuel fumes is very likely, especially if you've not had the issue before.
Leave it out in the sun for a few days, should fade away.

Looks like it’s fading away already just from the drive from Havasu to Parker
