We learned if you actually want to speak with a doctor at Kaiser, you just call and press the button that says you are experiencing Covid like symptoms. We do that for our kids and every pediatrician basically tells us a positive test doesn’t change anything with them and their treatment. I called earlier this week for my daughters sore throat and they just told us to give her zinc and vitamin D.

Good friend in CA and my sister in ID, each were recently feeling bad and tested positive for Covid. They each began Paxlovid. Reported it worked for them. They did say the Paxlovid gave them a metallic like taste in their mouths.

5 of my daughters middle school teachers are out sick with Covid.
I told her they were sick and prior to 2020, most teachers worked when they had a common cold.
Teacher tests positive for Covid in my district, they are out for 5 days or until a negative test.
I ran into the superintendent at the store and told him, no wonder your budget for subs is so large

It say right on some tests that it cannot differentiate between the flu and covid. It's the flu... end of story. I don't even know why covid is a thing?

I'm thinking the government must still be paying them for testing? I went to the doctors a few months ago for a rash and they wanted to give me a covid test. I'm like WTF are you serious? Hell No. Even if I had covid symptoms I wouldn't test. Are they going to give me a cure if I was? Nope. It's the Flu -always has been!

That's pretty much the reason to test right there. If your a compromised person they will issue paxlovid and from what I've seen with family it knocks it out so fast.

I hate being sick if they would give me it I would take it to it in a 3 or 4 days instead of being sick for a week and half.

You cant get COVID if you dont test for it.

You can say the same for any other illness. I check my blood pressure once a week, just to be sure it stays where it should be.

Those tests can't distinguish between the flu or the COVID strain.....

Not sure WTF I have been dealing with but I have had a sinus issue for over two weeks. My nasal passages and ear canals are constantly filled with crap. Nasal drip was so bad I couldn't sleep for a week because my nose just wouldn't stop running. This sux.

Though in my situation I’d rather be sick at home than at work so I don’t mind if I get whatever summer flu strain this is. I got some binge watching I could catch up on.
