Had a Blast this past weekend

We rented a house in Needles at the Palms river resort 3 couples + kids. Had a great time launched the boat Friday afternoon went to PC for dinner. Saturday went from needles to Havasu and back finishing the day of at PC. Sunday ran into some problems tried to go up river to the AVI I'm not too familiar with this part of the river So it got shallow real quick on me ran up on some rocks no big deal I got the Prop out of the water no Damage we just rocked the boat off the rocks and back into the deeper section and headed back down river. We where looking at the beaches accross from where we rented I was slowly floating in gear in front of the beach we where looking at felt a slight bump pulled up the prop and there you have it 4 flat blades. Oh well we pulled the boat out and headed to the pool and finished off a great weekend minus the prop Damage :grumble: I want to say thanks to the Family ( sorry I didn't get their names) But the husband was at the launch Ramp when I pulled the boat out and by the time I had the boat in front of the house and just starting to unload His wife pulls up with the prop I needed and said I could borrow it. I declined because I didnt want to damaged their spare prop But thank you! to the husband and wife you guys are very generous. After all that it still was a great weekend!

That's my park, was the guy that offered the prop Lucas? Let me know if ya ever want to rent a smaller place, mine's for sale in the sale/rental section.

It's easy heading north to Avi if it's late in the day, water is usually very high.

We rented the 2-story place on the end we loved the park and will definitely keep you in mind for the next time we rent. Sorry this a response to PVHCA

One of these days I'll get up that way and explore the horizons as they say.. I've heard nothing but great things about that park.

Come on Bart, twice in 3 years and the last time was under $2.00 per month, BADDEST PARK on the RIVER!!

Checked out the Avi yesterday,grounds,beach and ramp looked great,also the docks.Water moving fast but deep.The reviews on the casino,rooms and food seem mixed.Outside the place looked maintained.

no phill you better do the math my rent doubbled in 10 years from 190.00
to 448 when i sold it to hoy not inculding the next months increes and i hear thair going to start charging for your water and chip told me that it will keep going up at like 7 percent a year but that is just good bisness

That wasn't Chip's doing that was the Neilson's, Chip usually increases the rent when the CPI moves and he usually at the same time does more park improvements. Our rent is very inline with all parks on the river, cheaper than most.

Stayed there a few weeks ago for 4 days. Was concerned based on the reviews myself. Pulled the trigger and was glad we did. Some of the Indians seem unhappy, but most were cool. Service was decent, buffet was good. Will be back! Wish I hadn't waited so long to check it out.
