We decided to do something a little different for the long weekend this year and go somewhere that didn’t have a big body of water or place to ride the ATV’s. When going to Mexico we usually stick to the coastal areas and stay near the resorts if we leave at all from them like most American tourists.
Didn’t know what to expect heading to Guanajuato for this trip but glad we went. The town is rich in history and culture. Local people were fun to be around and very friendly. We used the Otay CBX bridge crossing that allows you to park on this side and walk across directly into the Airport (Was part of building it so that was cool).
This city cannot be compared to any border city on the Mexico side . Just driving from Airport to our Hotel you can tell you were in a area that took pride in their city.
Yellow building was a church and the white building is a university.
