Wider tunnel will pack air quicker so the hydro/aero transition should be lower in the speed zone I'm thinking.

I was told a long time ago. "with a (28') cat, you have a (28') rudder"
That goes for any length cat. I've raced a 19', 36', 40' and 46' cat and "spun out" 3 of them.

Basically, two vee hulls to hook it with. Drive depths help a lot with the tendency though.

I've ridden in a buddies new 28 DW with 300XS's, 4 seater, similar weight to this awesome Skater. The 28DW has a larger hop zone than the other 28 Skaters which all of us were very surprised by. That 28DW is very fast on the top end, over 120mph, he won't push it at all in the turns but feels like it would turn well.
This new Skater will be AMAZING for Havazoo, congrats.

The Outboards are designed to be tilted so the port side of the boat is up as long as that’s done no problem. ( for 400s anyway. I Imagine the 300s are the same )

Usually they put both fuel fills on the port side.

This boat was widened. Skater splits them down the middle and puts em back together again.

We're supposed to get some bullshit weather Wednesday into Thursday....

I believe it was April 16-17 last year when we got a 18" dumping of snow. Wet heavy stuff. It was the reason I went to desert storm. Lolol.

Until you Midwestern Post Hors and in particular, Cheeseheads, came out of your east of the Rockies closet, I never paid much attention to what goes on back there.
Now I find myself concerned with weather events, flooding, farms and its impact on you guys thousands of miles away ---- errrrr thanks I guess, lol
Shit now it's expanded to some damn Elbow thing out in the Gulf Stream --- sheesh, like I need more to worry about

4 to 6 inches for us the next couple days and heading east slowly , 10 to 15 expected just to the west of us .
