Grimaldis scottsdale has a no guns sign posted, outside. That eliminates a massive number of Arizonans.

Many Micro Brews and stone fired pizza joints started up just before the Chi-flu. I hope they make it as many have good Beers and food. Dreams are riding on it.

I always go descreet. What they can't see, they can't complain about. I figure those signs are to discourage people from bringing their AR out to dinner.

Besides, the generic guns I see on the signs are 1911's. I carry a G43.

Not sure why, but I'm one of the very few that thinks Grimaldi's is overrated. Same with Spinato's. Both great Pizzas, I really do like the sweetness / sugar in the sauce. But I've never left either Restaurant thinking it was close to the best I've ever had.

For the Phoenicians reading this, if you like Grimaldi's, try Fatso's on 32nd St and Thunderbird. More of a bar atmosphere, and I wouldn't recommend trying to get in on a Friday night as it's usually fucking slammed ( pre covid ).

Pizza is great, try the garlic 1/2 and 1/2 with any other combo, ask for a bowel of pesto and dip the pizza in it you will be surprised at how good it is...they also have some of the best Cannoli outside of Buddy's....and I have never been in there without my little friend along side me....

I usually hit Rays in Happy Valley for a quick slice to fill the stomach tank for the dreadfully boring ride between Wickenburg and Kingman.

Google says only one location. It's pretty close to Scottsdale.

If you are driving through Quartzsite, hit Silly Al’s. Might be the best pizza I have ever had. We have started to take and bake on our way to the river house. They give it to you uncooked, throw it in the oven for 20.
