After all the bad experiences people have been having a thought I should share a great one.

This is a long story, I wanted to by a new Dodge 1500 for my wife and was willing to order one and wait to get a yellow one but dodge was only offering there Classic ram 1500 in the non standard colors and I wanted the newer loaded ram so after about 2 years Ram made the Rebel Havoc edition in grey and yellow.
They came out at the end of 2023 and list price was between 70k and 74K I took her down to Jack Powell in Escondido and sat in one when they started arriving but they wanted over list I think it was about 5k and I was not willing to pay that much.
Well as it turns out the Grey ones sold out quickly but the yellow ones did not sell nearly as fast.
I started getting serious in may and found one advertised at Huntington Beach Dodge for 14k off list so now you have my attention but after having them send a quote they had over 4k in add ons plus as it did not have all the options I wanted one that I had to have was a convince package that includes adjustable pedals as Susi in only 4ft 12 inches she only gets credit for 5ft when wearing heels, plus I wanted the 33 gallon tank and the barn door tailgate.
I went online and emailed every dealer with one that had all the options I wanted in a 400 mile radius I got lots of responses and pretty much everyone was a minimum of 5k off list but one dealer Jim Manning Dodge in Dinuba Ca about 30 miles south of Fresno was 11,135 off a list price of 74,130 or 62,995 and he emailed a hand written offer over that day with just 1 phone call from me I gave the other dealers a few days but nobody came close,
I also offered James the opportunity to do the financing with what ever he needed for a down payment up to 20% to get the best rate but dodge was not offering a sponsored rates so I ended up using my equipment financing guy at Wells Fargo 0 down and 9.99 % for 60 months.
all this was done with a few calls and emails and no up selling for anything and that was his first offer and I did not counter offer for less as I knew it was a good deal.

I live in Escondido ca about 300 miles south so I made a few calls and found a load going to Vandenberg space force base and thought without checking that it would be a quick run east over the hills to Dinuba after my delivery, well the day did not go as planned pre load the night before and leave about 2am arrive at Vandenberg about 700 and have to check in a get my pass that took about 2 hours and then on to another entry to be checked again another 30 minute delay, arrive at job and have to unload and then they need a 336 cat excavator moved a few miles down the road so I left about 1130 and arrived in Dinuba about 230 pm.
my wife's new truck was waiting by the front door and ready to go about an hour test driving, signing docs and getting signed up with all the ram online stuff and I was done.
after loading the truck I hit the road again about 430pm headed for home pulled in the yard about 1am that was a long day

I hope that Ram gives you and your wife the same amazing driving experience that Mother Mopar has always given us. We have clocked almost a million miles between the 4 that we have owned.
But that interest rate . . .

Nice truck. Interest rate seems high. Would have thought you could get it in the mid six for new vehicle.

For interest rate i bought 3 semi trucks new a 2018 a 2020 and a 2021 they were all between 4.8 and 4.9 for 5 years so with the prime rate going up the rate for the new truck is appropriate for the current fed funds rate

Congrats on the wife's new ride! The Hemi trucks are fun. I really like the work truck though!

Looks great with the boat. When I saw the first pic I thought - the first thing I’d do is to take off the Rebel sticker. 😂
Nice setup.
