The younger is out as of last week. Been calling Stone and no word on when they are getting theirs yet. Been going last few years.

The first to find out are those on Stone's email alerts. They usually only announce a couple hours before they tap it.

TapHunter app is also a good source for when and where they're tapping Younger.

It's almost always the following weeks Tuesday from the breweries release date which would make it tomorrow.

Went on a little craft beer binge yesterday. Headed over to Backyard Bottleshop in Murrieta and found probably the best IPA I have had since old school Pliny The Younger.

Then a taster of Power Plant from El Segundo. Freaking DANGEROUS 11.7 that goes down like a single IPA

That's pretty impressive. [emoji106]

I called in a favor because you bastards are posting good stuff. I had cut back on the IPA's because it was adding up to a car payment each month. My mornings were starting out a lot slower too lol

Anyways, back to the favor. Have a case of Pliny and growler of Blind Pig on its way to my doorstep. Camping at Huntington this coming Thurs through Sunday. Should be a fun weekend.

Hollingshead In Orange is doing their Pliny The Younger on Monday The 20th. I went last year for a first time. Line was only 45min. hd like 3 pours of Younger and 3 of Elder, and some other shit. Dropped my Younger glass in the driveway when I got home!! It didn't make it :thumbsdown

They had Powerplant at Naja's for a few weeks, it's one of my faves. My wife and I found another little Mexican place in Old Torrance that has a bunch of local beers on tap. We drop our girls of at tutoring and walk down there for a couple beers and happy hour specials on Tuesdays.

Not a ton of chocolate or coffee flavor, much better than I would have thought.

Thought it was interesting this photo below, the logo looks like the one from Better Call Saul's law firm for those that watch the show.

Damn, I've been hooked on the Juicy IPA's lately. We've gotten 6 growlers from Monkish this 4th weekend. If you can, get to Monkish in Torrance as they are killing it!!

My daughter got married earlier this year so we made a few batches of Strong Scottish Ale for party favors. This was a big hit with everyone and is always a good beer to make and enjoy! 20170225_195205.jpg

I hadn't heard about Monkish. Having them, the Dudes and Smog City all within a stones throw is amazing.

The Dudes Double Trunk is what I have been bringing on the boat lately (available in cans).

I'm going to Naja's on Friday, I'll ask for something Monkish.

Down in Dana Point for an appointment and stopped at Board and Brew for lunch.

This is BNS Revolver (Santee), a 6.5% abv 62 IBU American IPA.

HOLY CRAP, this is GOOOOOOOOD!!

You're killing me. I've been on meds for two weeks, so no alcohol, and that looks tasty.

Shoot , meds go down easier with a beer !

This stuff is nasty, it's hard on the liver and kidneys and you can't go out in the sun.

The good news... My wife had to mow the lawn last week because I couldn't be in the sun. That was fun!
