I went to the GN Roadster show last weekend with my son. He had his 32 Ford Tudor on display, actually in the same hall as the boats.
He has been working on it for about 3 years, and this was the first time out (finished it at midnight the day before the show)

You and your son have great taste. I've been lucky enough to work on a few that placed at that show, modified coupes as well as a couple of sleds. It's truly insane how much effort goes into the build, and the royal pain in the ass it is to actually get it there...and then clean it again, just in case.

The car looks phenomenal. Now that it's been shown, and placed, time to drive it.

They look like black steelies with a chrome lug cap.
I was looking at that too. At first glance, I thought they might have been black spoked wheels.

Congrats to your son, thats beautiful build.

It's kinda cool to see a young dude into early Fords, bringing new blood to the genre. Usually early Ford guys look like you and me.

… Yeah … I thought they might have been black spoke wheels at first also… Kinda looks like a normal size center cap with the outer ring of it painted black… The wheels look a bit like 30’s Dodge/De Soto wheels… With air holes or whatever you would call them where the wheel center meets the wheel outer… on second glance doesn’t look like they are the Dodge/Desoto wheels 🤷🏽‍♀️…would love to see a close-up of a wheel… and also photos of the upholstery👍

Wow - the Tudors I always loved. Very sharp looking car. great color combos and love the power setup - period "hot rod" correct.

Very classy build. That will never go out of style. Great job!!!

Bad ass build.

Here's my guess on the wheels,
Smoothies from The Wheel Smith, in either a 16 or 17, maybe a 17 in the rear, and a 16 up front.
1940 ford hubcaps, with the rib section painted to match the wheel, leaving just the center section visible.
Tires are Excelsior Stahls, by Coker.

The wheels are 1940 Ford 16"x 4.5" Front & Divco Milk truck 18"x 6" rear Steel Wheels hub caps are 39 Ford DeLuxe with the outer part painted. He also has a set of Alloy wheels with knock offs for the car.

Very cool seeing younger guys getting into the hot rod cars now that the older guys are aging out of them. I've been waiting and waiting to see the change over and it seems to really be happening over the past few years. And your sons is BEAUTIFUL!!!

By the way, walked past your boat in the CI harbor yesterday morning. Looking very clean and tidy. I keep the whaler on the dock about 3 down towards seafresh from you. ;)

Hi, Yes I had a Red & White 28' Flybridge Named Kahn Job and then I had a Yellow & White 24' with a blown 509 Chevy also named Kahn Job. Fun Boats!
I remember it. I had a 20' Campbell with a Banks 850hp. The regattas were a great gathering of like minded people.
