You can get to Boriana via the valley east of our closest mountains(they call em 4 sisters or something like that?)Actually, there are a couple rather small flooded cave entrances with fish in them not all that far from the Standard Wash quarry. I suspect it is part of a under-surface network, it had that creepy feeling of not wanting to put any of your limbs in it.When we went to Gold Fish Pond it was from the south side of town. Are there two gold fish ponds? I think we went after Rovey’s Needle.
I do but won’t have access to it until thanksgiving week. May do a ride out to pond if anyone interested.Does anyone have ride command that they could map it out on and Share? I have been wanting to hit the gold fish pond for a long time. About how many miles is that ride from Havasu?
I've been to one north of Oatman on route 66, pretty much right hand side before going down hill to Kingman.
not gonna lie it was wet, I personally did not see any goldies, it was fun finding.

This. Tow up too haulapai lodge. It's $10 to park in their lot. Very safe. From LHC take I 40 east to the Alamo Rd exit. Head west. When you get to the road that takes you over the Hualapais, turn left onto that road, Boriana Mine Rd (?). That road will lead you up to the Boriana Mines and the Goldfish Ponds. The ponds are adjacent to the mines. If you were to continue on that road/trail it takes you up into the mountains above Kingman, a small town with cabins, a lodge and a tiny lake. A paved road leads down the mountain into Kingman.
and a breakdown in the sand wash at night…. Didn’t know which way was up it was so dark. Good times!!I don’t have the tracks
But can tell ya How to get there!
I didn’t name it….Thought you just called it the “Pride stop”.

Could you park a truck and trailer at the bunker bar and take this trail? Ive never been to bunker bar so idk if its possible. If not where is a close spot to it to leave a truck and trailer?
The green line is the power line rd or the wash? I see sacramento wash on the other side of the 40, is that the one you are talking about?Yes you can take that route.
You don’t have to cross over the 40 and take the wash east. Although the wash is a fun run as you weave through the trees / bushes - it’s flat & smooth !
There is a gas line & power pole road / dirt trail on the south side of the highway but it’s a very boring ride as it travels up & down a series of rolling hills / valleys for most of the east ward travel…. You’ll have sight of the 40 almost the entire time. It’s dusty and has a lot of chatter bumps.
