We have friends that have stayed there and like the place. It's small, relatively clean (for a place in the port) and near downtown Long Beach. What used to be Golden Shore Launch Ramp is now more of a swamp but it's all fenced off. There are a lot of homeless and tweakers in the area so make sure to bring everything inside at night or lock it up real good. One of our friends had a bicycle stolen while staying there.

I liked it better when it was Golden Shore launch ramp! It was the Site 6 launch ramp in Long Beach!

1. Great location for restaurants and bike path.
2. Clean restrooms, pool and spa. Very secure.
3. Nice sitting out looking up at the city lights.
Much better than most camp grounds on gravel with no room between you.
