I know he pops in and out but it’s been a while. Hopefully he’s ok.
I want to say that every time he pops in.I’m still waiting for him to finish the turbocharged outboard he was working on
What's this about?I’m still waiting for him to finish the turbocharged outboard he was working on
What's this about?
That I'd like to see. I started on one too, but stopped putting funds into it too damn close to the finish line...He actually designed and halfway prototyped a turbo for a two-stroke. There’s a thread on it here somewhere. It was really fascinating.
He also designed “pour mark” which was used by multiple corporations to measure wine pours. He’s what i would consider a genius. He actually designed and halfway prototyped a turbo for a two-stroke. There’s a thread on it here somewhere. It was really fascinating.
I just spent a little time trying to search that thread, but I can’t even find Go fly in the membership, did he ask to be removed? He actually designed and halfway prototyped a turbo for a two-stroke. There’s a thread on it here somewhere. It was really fascinating.

I guess it’s just me!
I was mistaken. I thought he was turbo charging an outboard, but he was building a supercharger for a Merc. Here’s the thread if you’re interested. What's this about?
Very cool! I totally forgot about that one (happens, since it's 12 years old since it's last post).I was mistaken. I thought he was turbo charging an outboard, but he was building a supercharger for a Merc. Here’s the thread if you’re interested.
If you like boats and machine work, you should really see this thread.
This guy starts out with just your ordinary complete refurbishing of the hull, including, splitting the hull and deck, total floor replacement, adding a pad, etc... I think that whole process maybe took him a week or two...and then around page 14 or so, he starts machining his own supercharger...www.riverdavesplace.com
Unless you like heavy pours. He also designed “pour mark” which was used by multiple corporations to measure wine pours. He’s what i would consider a genius.
I remember that now, after reading that thread I thought to myself if anyone could pull this off it's this guy.I was mistaken. I thought he was turbo charging an outboard, but he was building a supercharger for a Merc. Here’s the thread if you’re interested.
