Glamis Halloween

Anyone heading out to glamis this weekend for the camp rzr shit show? We typically do attend but stay away from all the craziness at vendors. My sand car is still at the paint shop so we actually won't be making it out there. We plan to take the rzr to Ocotillo and let my son ride his pw around for the weekend. Then head to glamis on sunday to try and find a spot for veterans the next weekend. Fingers crossed my sand car will be done for veterans and I'll just flat bed it out there

I used to like seeing the shit show but now with my small kids I’m over it. I’d rather cruise through the dunes without worrying about some idiot not knowing what they’re doing and possibly hitting us

Same here, my kids love Glamis, We will be in the washes somewhere. Hopefully a good spot (I'm not the camp spot coordinator) for the kids to ride and not worry about them too much.

Pretty much quit going about 3 years ago for haloween and dont miss it.every year the stupidity tops the previous years.going since 86 or so and dont care for the bigger weekends as well did go solid until about 2021 and just stopped.

will do some midweek trips that may lead up to an off weekend and maybe pres weekend at most.Back in the day it was packed to but there were more brains compared to todays inexperienced drivers.

Ocotillo was nice! Hardly any crowd out there. Kids had a blast riding around on some of the smaller hills next to camp. Left for Glamis at 8:30 this morning, pulled in at 10am. Holy shit it was insane here. I could barely get through gecko, trucks and trailers everywhere, camp circles way farther out off gecko than I have ever seen. Honestly glad I missed this Halloween. Talked to a few people that I’m camping with out here and they said it was an absolute shit show. Got our spot locked down and hopefully my car will be ready for next weekend
