Found with wife and dog, all deceased. At home in NM. Does not look like foul play, but story just hit so will see.

Always liked him in the movies I have seen. Real versatile actor.

RIP
That sucks great actor.....

He became a big time actor in the French Connection, with a car chase scene only second to Bullitt.

Latest I've heard is he,wife, dog all died in separate rooms.
Front door was ajar.
Being this is in Santa fe New Mexico you can almost bet the investigation will be botched&truth will be subjective.

Dead for over two weeks. You would think his daughter or some relative would have attempted to contact him in that period of time.

… Pills on the floor… Bodies found in different rooms… Dog got into the pills… prescription pill /fentanyl overdose… I suppose it’s a possibility🤷🏽‍♀️

Her body was found next to a space heater. Dog was still in it's cage. My guess is carbon monoxide poisoning.

Don’t quote me on this, the news was on in the background and I thought they ruled that out as a possibility.
You might be right, but I heard the words space heater my mind automatically thinks carbon monoxide.

Is space heater and wall heater used synonymously? I think of space heaters as typical portable elec. Type units.
Sad to hear, such a great actor. Always enjoyed his characters he played. RIP sir.

I think a space heater is portable for temporary use.

They found no evidence of a gas leak or carbon monoxide. And what I read and watched just now she was on the bathroom floor he was in the entry way and the dog was in a closet🤷🏻‍♂️

Space heaters and wall heaters wouldn't put off carbon monoxide as they are most likely electric.

This may be a bit off, but at 95, how was his health? Mental or physical? Sad as it is to think, I wonder if she had a medical emergency, and was trying to get meds. Dog gets locked up by accident, and dies from no food or water. She dies in the bathroom from the emergency. He, possibly mentally slipping, has little sense of time. He doesn't take meds, as no one there to remind him. Walks outside looking for her the next day or several maybe, comes back inside and collapsed.

The above article goes into detail as her condition being in a relatively advanced state of decomposition, but not anything of his.

I assume at one point he lived near or around Culver City. Saw him ride a beach cruiser to Tito's once...seemed pretty sureal.

TV reporters don't understand that. They have no clue what so ever.
The WTC 911 attack was reported as an Air Traffic Controller problem the entire time.
