"Various city estimates provided to the San Antonio Report last year indicated the facility cost between $1.2 million and $800,000 per month to run, with a lease that could last until 2032.

A city spokesman said Monday that the city is currently spending $500,000 per month on the facility."

Multiply this figure by a dozen or two for large cities, and you'll begin to realize how much federal, state, and city governments have been spending to accommodate illegal immigrants flooding our country.

According to Microsoft Copilot, Washington State spent $460M supporting illegal immigrants in just 2023. Some of this was federal money, some State. Multiply that by 50, and it would be $23B. And that wouldn’t include money spent directly by the federal government.

Of course, some of the Red states were probably smarter than that.
