Friday nights.

So on Friday night I host a bbq for friends. Workers, the token traines (the transmission guy I have been using forever ) who ever shows up and I invite some customers up sometimes. Ends up being anywhere from 8-15 people any given Friday. We end up laughing and and having a great time. I usually smoke something on the smoker and a few sides and the regulator bring a side Or desert. Every one has a great time. Most of us look forward to it as a way to destress and chill. Just wondering if any of the other inmates do something similar.

Yes Every Saturday we do a pot luck with my volleyball group. The ladies usually choose a theme. Soups on cold days etc...

I miss the old days when a couple local masonry yards would do a last friday of the month BBQ or something similar.
Del Piso Masonry & Tile on State College in Anaheim used to do that & it was always a lot of fun.

Kudos to You for doing that . . . people going the extra mile really means a LOT.

Human nature often doesn't show appreciation for these type of things until they are gone . . . then they talk about 'the good ol days' . . . . so You Sir are 'making' the good old days.

We do something similar on Wednesday nights at our industrial center. Most people bring snacks or whatever to go with the BBQ, it's different every week.

My group ranges from 5 people to 30 people just depending on how many show up.
We do Happy Hour potluck on Fridays.
But also lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I sued to do this every other weekend. I had a 12ft pull down screen and a projector. I'd do a movie night and smoke up several tri-tips, or Boston butts or racks or ribs. Invite the neighborhood over. Occasionally had about 30 people. Best was when some people were driving through the neighborhood and would stop and join in.

It’s Friday. Filet, bacon Mac and cheese with shrimp and bacon and and potatoes.

Nothing as fancy as you, but every weekend our street usually BBQs together while our kids play.

Last weekend I did smoked hot dogs, hamburgers, and chili for the adults. The kids got fair food, hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy.

What ever I find in the fridge usually. I don't have a standard. I wing it every week for the most part.
