To bag on France is to say Benjamin Franklin was wrong in asking for their assistance.
I'm always embarrassed when I read People of this Great Nation calling them cowards.
They blew so much of their wealth to help a fledgling Country, it cost them more than they could afford.
One has to realize there was not a Federal Reserve or World Banking system at that time that could kick the can down the road as far as debt is concerned.
We owe Alliance to France and Spain forever. Far more than the Fed Res. imo
