I thought you were talking about the place with the best beer in your area.

Yeah. During my drive home today on the 202 I would really see what was burning. Sucks. Heading out to Canyon in a few minutes since Saguaro is closed.

I spent the night out on Sagauro Lake Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning with the lake closed. There was only a dozen or so boats on the entire lake until we left around 11 am. We got a front row seat to the fire fighting helos picking up water out of the Lake. It was pretty cool and surreal. Imagine how fun it was to pull the boat out on a mid sunday morning with no body on the boat ramp!

I wouldnt be surprised if they close Saguaro Lake or at least all the coves and Sandy Beach, Butcher Jones, etc before any monsoons begin. All those washes come from where the fire has burned everything.

Arg, I didn’t even think of that. First few wash runs are going to be a charcoal runoff.

Beautiful pic....crazy when they have snow on them.

That's a great photo. It reminds me of Mt Charleston. It can be 98 degrees in Vegas while the mountains are sparkling with fresh snow.
