I get it but that tournament was dead without that ASU” demographic. Good luck to them.

Why not have one event that is wild and crazy and waited upon with anticipation? I get the beer throwing was out of hand but still, it's an awesome event to watch.

Do I want all golf to be like pro wrestling? Absolutely not. But one event? yes!

The Waste Management Open aka The Phoenix Open will maintain it's party atmosphere with the minor necessary changes.
The Thunderbirds and the PGA know what got this event to near legendary status and they're smart enough not to F with it too much.

DILLIGAF wants things back like he remembers where everyone was polite, murmured and golf clapped and wore Polo shirts with sweaters around their shoulders. Talk about ageing out.😁

That gets you the Poughkeepsie open with a couple hundred viewers.😂

You want 100's of thousands of attendees and a hell of a party?
Welcome to the Waste Management Open 👍

Is this coming from LF? the same guy that just recently cancelled his newspaper subscription because they stopped printing your "get off my lawn" letters to the editor?

LF just wants to slam beers and fight with 21 year olds who cant stand up 2 hours into their 6AM entrance to "watch" some good golf. Lol

It needed to happen. I’ve been going to this tournament since I was a little boy. It was fun then and not so crazy and it’s fun now. It will stay fun but they do need to bounce people that are off the hinges. I know a lot of the thunderbirds and this tournament isn’t dieing. I do see it getting more expensive and a larger barrier of entry for randoms.

Ohhh its out of control. Lol
Ya, I watched the highlights last year. I would have tolerated the beer shower but the throwing of shit on the course would have infuriated me as it did watching it on TV.
To me it's just another example of the lack of respect and class for others in society. People are just more out of control than ever.

Do we blame Trump or Biden? I'm confused LOL.
Why biden of course.
He and his party/administration set the tone for the nation........complete disregard for everyone's well being in the nation...........
He and his administration is absolute trash and it's blatantly apparent everywhere if one chooses to see it.
Yesterday on fox news they reported that the president of Mexico instructed their military to stop 2 massive caravans of migrants BEFORE reaching the border just from a tweet or statement made by Pres. Trump. When he speaks, people/countries respond with respect and compliance. When biden speaks people/countries laugh and take our $$$$. Pres. Trumps not even in office yet and people/countries are already making changes in compliance with his policies..
Truly amazing and inspiring to witness already.

It’s really been a shit show since they moved it to the TPC. One of my good friends dated a Thunderbird’s daughter and we got free passes for about 10 years when it moved. There were some wild times out on the greens after dark😁. It has progressively gotten rowdier every year. I think after Covid people just lost all respect for anything and the entitlement has increased tenfold. I would hate to see any thing change to ruin it, but they do have to control the douche baggery.
All that said I haven’t been in about 10 years, just watch the shit show from afar.

We have a suite on the 16th. Last year was a shit show on the turf below us. I’m skipping it this year and instead going to our suite at the Farmers at Torrey.

I’ve been twice. Will never go back. I don’t like crowds for one and I don’t like standing in line for 45 minutes to get a 30 dollar hot dog and warm beer.
