My parents are both in realestate. Right now they are shopping for a magic lamp to try out.

I will send over this. :D

When we sold our last house, a friend brought one of those over. We planted it in the backyard, and hoped for the best. He works slow, it took 11 months to sell.
The funny thing is that when we were doing our final walk through, my wife says "Did you get St. Joseph". It took me about 2 hours digging in the backyard to find him. He now sits on the mantle of our new house.

I think you were supposed to put it in the front yard.

Directions for burying a St. Joseph Statue:

Dig a hole near your For Sale sign by the street approximately 3 inches deeper than the statue. If you have no yard, use a large plant pot.

Place the St. Joseph statue facing the street in the hole.

When covering the statue, prayers should be said. They are very often included in the packaging. I have the prayer at the end of this post past the jump.

Once you have sold you home, remove the statue and place in your new home.

Heard on the radio the other day some people put him upside down. It supposed to give him more incentive to get back in the house. :D
I heard you only put him upside down only if the homeowner is upside down with the home. A side note Homes are selling most are the lower end homes and if you want to sell a home you better price it cheaper then most or be in alot better shape then most.

I still have the one we (ex and I) used when we sold to move to AZ in 1997. Once we placed it next to the sign, upside down facing the street, our house sold 1 month later! I guess you could say it works. Also, we had friends with a big house in Devore, we buried St. Joseph for them (they had already moved) and their house, which had been on the market for about a year sold about 3 months later. I think the key is believing!!
