Always used cb in jeeps for trail rides. Getting back into again and I understand everybody is using fmrs radios. Know nothing about them other than the basics and have to get a license. What say the experts on here? Is the handheld one is good as the base mount as far as range? Which really doesn’t matter as you aren’t that far away from the group unless you are in a huge group which I won’t do.
