You know every now and again someone posts something that completely makes me rethink everything I thought about that poster..

I purposefully stayed out of the moon one because I just didn’t want to know who and how much respect I’d lose for them.. lol

So let’s assume the world is flat and we never landed on the moon what good will it do if your right but can’t convince enough people and how many is enough what if everyone became believers what have you accomplished.
Do you think it’s like the matrix and you can wake us up to fight some all powerful Evle

My dad believed in conspiracy theories and chased unrealistic goals and investments and inventions to the exclusion of attaining in moderate success making millions was chump change he was going to make billions.
Today dad at 94 has dementia and finally has stopped the constant discussion about unrealistic goals and the pleading for people to join him , he even convinced my employees to invest in one of his scrams , I had to finally warn anyone that met him not to invest.
Dad was online every day spreading his truth he was a very charming and convincing story teller
He spent about 50 years dreaming and end the end has cartakes 24 /7 I saw him as not in touch with reality when I was about 15 and am now 60 .
Dad could live to over 100 his mother did and dad takes no medication is in perfect health,
My dad alienated all of are extended family nobody wanted to come by and be subjected to his version of reality, dad has not brought wealth or enlightenment to his family only generational debt as it costs 4000 + more than his benefits to keep him housed every month.
So can you be happy no matter what the truth really is ? Well I can and chose to ignore all my dads ranting about what the truth really was and how he knew more because he was a USC graduate and I was just a high school graduate.
My dad wasted at least 50 years of his own life and another 40 of my mothers life and financially ruined his parents retirement and currently bleeds resources from his grandchildren a true parasite that keeps on taking.
Be Careful to not become burden to your family once you start down the rabbit hole it can be hard to back out

I always thought it was faster to fly west. Not like get into the air and wait for the destination to come to you fast, but faster? IDK.

I love about these arguments. It proves that there is no wrong answer. In today’s day and age with AI, and the interwebs, all available correct answers are right at yore fingertips. My oldest brother spent many years in college, and he tells the story of one of his classes that he took. The first half of the year, you came up with your thesis on what ever, and have all the data and proof of concept. The second half of the year, you came up with all the data and proof that your original concept is wrong. In the end it was always almost a perfect wash either way. So, the point is that it’s all about the sales pitch, and grabbing the most takers. It makes for good entertainment in my opinion…

It only seems that way because of the time change/ jet lag. If you look at flight times it's almost always slower because the Jetstream is blowing west to east. not at 1000mph tho😎

in unrelated news I just got this new hydrogen generator that quadruples my cars mpgs!

My experience both driving and flying, wind seems to come out of the west more often. Big tailwinds when flying or driving east.

2024 is going to be nutz! Apparently some people forget about psychological operations. I don’t claim to know who or why…but it’s getting weird.

If the earth is flat, how thick is it? Can we dig to the other side? Would that make it a square? Or is it like a piece of paper?

Is the moon round or flat?

Is the Sun flat?

So many questions. 🙄

So hypothetically for the sake of discussion.
If you arrive at your destination and your trailer appears to be empty and carrying no load.
Do your customers believe you when you explain that their excavator is in fact on the trailer, but because you were traveling faster than the speed of light, it's likeness is running a bit behind ?

Theorists vs. the Realists, the age old battle of what is, or is it really 🤔 😵‍💫

I’m thinking it’s gonna take more than a 12 pack and a cup of coffee to buy into this theory.

After seeing this post and the other moon landing one . . . I thought to myself, "I honestly can't really think of anything I care less about, than if the earth is flat or not".

Except.. there is a correct answer. lol.

The plane one always gets me a bit but I get it. The atmosphere is moving too, objects in motion, windspeed, etc...

Where I get a little less clear is what if an object is launched from earth so It is moving at 1600 kph in the same direction as the rotation but it is clear of our atmosphere is its relative speed over ground still affected once it is out of our atmosphere? Does gravitational pull still have an effect?

As a round earther I believe I have the ability to fight a speeding ticket on a west bound freeway by saying that I wasn't speeding I was actually slowing my rate of rotation around the earths surface.

No, I operate in reality😆 But, for internet sake, I love me some good conspiracy. Way more fun. Like the little boy said to Nero in the matrix movie; “Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth… there is no spoon. Then you'll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

I think I've found the smoking gun and we can consider this science as being settled! 😜

Let it be known that I am a round fruit fan and consider the banana abhorrent...

I thought a few of these types of threads were entertaining as well until I realized that having these discussions with a cat, or tree leaf, would be far less frustrating.
Once you realize the person you're attempting to engage is a strange entity with hands covering it's ears and screaming NAH,NAH, NAH, NAH as loud as possible to drown out any input, it pretty much takes the fun out of it and eventually you find yourself wanting to toss this entity in front of a passing bus. 😈

Grad's is known for fishing, this particular entity starting and then endlessly perpetuating these topics, is a purse seiner by comparison, and to make matters worse, feels it's mission is a holy one that's endowed by our creator. 🤯

It actually is beneficial to launch rockets towards to the east and closest to the equator, you get a free 1000mph head start for orbit, which means you can carry a heavier payload launching east and the closer to the equator the better. This was why Musk chose the location he did for Starbase in TX

As for plane flight, it's irrelevant because you are moving in relation to the earths surface, whether fixed or moving.

Flat earthers cannot explain time zones, and how if you leave the west coast in the morning and fly east you land in the afternoon, but if you fly west you leave in the morning and land in the morning. 🤦‍♂️
