Fireworks in Havasu

We will be there for 4th of July.

Does Havasu sell really good fireworks? Like big ones. Im in so cal and you cant even buy sprinklers let alone real fireworks anymore. Want to get some cool stuff for my lil guy to see.

Also how good is the fireworks show in Havasu? Is it best viewed from the water? Where is the best place to view?

No good fireworks for sale.... Go to Avi or better yet Pahrump...

Rotary beach on land isn't horrible....I prefer floating on the pad in Thompson bay.... stay cool and see it all...

We've been to Havasu on the 4th several times but we have yet to experience the fireworks from the water.

I've noticed a layer of smoke on the water in the evening with everyone idling around in Thompson Bay.
Anyone else ever notice that? I can't imagine what the launch ramp looks like after the show is over.

Avi gas station/smoke shop for decent/good fireworks but pickin's might be kinda slim by time you get there. A few places around town sell your average box of home fireworks, grocery stores too. Usually have one or two firework stands around Safeway area too.

The city firework show is usually very good. Fired from Spectator Point so anywhere in Thompson Bay, Rotary Park are great viewing areas.

Round eyes on McCulloch Blvd carries some pretty decent stuff.

The best fireworks I have found around town is from the stand in the K-Mart parking lot. They sell Black Cat Fireworks which are much better than the whimpy stuff you buy here in CA. :cool
