Fathers day trip. No boating content.

Headed to Dotsaro Co on Thursday to pick my kid's up from a week at summer camp and visit a buddy in eagle co. Was a terrible haul. Knarly rain. Blew off finding camp before getting the kids and just headed str8 to their camp. Found a great spot for the night on the Colorado River a few miles from the kids camp for the night.

Buddy in Eagle had been scoping camp spots and figured we were screwed with the moisture he had been having. I went for it any way. Made it a few miles to a spot we like. Road was jacked with mud. Spot was was taken. As we contemplated our next move some dirt bikers rolled up and said we were lucky we stopped where we did. There's a logging truck blocking the road ahead. Kids hiked up to check it out.

Figured it was best to just camp in my bros front yard. Killer mountain biking and dirt biking from his front door.

Long before..

Rode some local trails. Dodged some rain and delt with closed trails on Friday afternoon. Great time. Went to show everyone the truck from the top side. Glad we didn't pull through there. Dude lost it an hr before we got there and wasn't expecting to get out of the way for a week.

Saturday we hung out and waited for the rain to slow down. Hit the trail and it started pouring 10 minutes later. Wife's and kids weren't pumped but they were cool.about it. Dads had fun.

In the middle of BFE my buddy gets a call.
Holy crap. We have service.
Well it's one of his buddies. He's stuck on his dirt bike. We decifer were hes at. We had been there earlier and decided not to go through it. Lol.
Head down the mountain for a rescue. Let the kids handle it...
