Fall Colors

We took a ride up HWY 550, aka The Million Dollar HWY yesterday. The colors are popping.above 9000'. I'm at 6700' so we should see them at the house next
week. The leafies are starting to arrive.

I sit right at 6000’ at my house. It’s starting to happen here this week. Time to break out the rake, blower and vacuum.

We are over 8500ft. Leaves have been changing for a couple weeks now.
I hate it....

Took the family for a little hike. This trail is about 2 switchbacks above (less than a mile) our place. 8800ft.

Beautiful Looks like a movie set.


My wife is from Toronto, we drove from Toronto to Kingston about this time of year once. The maple trees were stunning. All colors from green to bright red. It was something to see.

Great photo but if you want the ultimate and fall colors go to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Period!!!!

… Being from Southern California… I had never really seen the seasons change… When I went and played horse rancher in Oklahoma I couldn’t believe it…. The changing of colors of greenery…

They are changing where I live in Colorado at 6200’ but won’t see em this year, I’m in Arkansas at the lake. By the time I wander home it will be time to head to Arizona for the winter.
