I did just see that bringing home Whelan was not even on the table. Russians weren’t even open to discussing. Also, if you didn’t know Whelan was arrested in 2018 on Moscow in possession of top secret material on a thumb drive. He said he was there for a wedding and a russian friend gave him the thumb drive which Whelan thought contained photos of the wedding. Also should be noted he was dishonorably discharged from the marine corp for larceny after being caught trying to steal 10k.

US officials did try to negotiate him serving his sentence in the US but russia said no-go.

I’ve known a lot of people that have traveled to Russia and had a great time. Didn’t get arrested and had no issues. Just food for thought.

And I think he was trying to sneak in bud to Russia even though he knew it was illegal (had been playing in Russia since 2014) and people should be held accountable for their actions. I hear what you're saying Tank but my problem is us trading an arms dealer that can do major harm to our citizens for a useless POS. Russia gains someone they can use against us while we get what? Certainly nothing "it" can do to harm Russia and nothing "it" can do to help the USA.

It's like we traded a warehouse full of M-16's for a cap gun.

And don’t think Zellenskyy isn’t going to be “compensated” for this egregious anti Ukraine move… with 10% to the big guy of course.
This is just about as fucking bad as it gets.
A global arms dealer convicted and serving a 25 year sentence for a pot smoking, ball dribbling, USA hating tranny who knowingly snuck his vape dope into Russia and got caught.

No one was promised free tuition.
The proposal was up to $20K relief after meeting certain financial criteria.
Which is held up in court right now.

And I for one never expected a red wave and in fact posted the opinion that anyone who expected that was kidding themselves.

Bottom line is votes do not matter, results matter.
Votes and voter demographics are irrelevant other than dictating the extent of result manipulation.
While we argue about this they laugh in both our faces.

I spoke to my kid about this a short while ago and she saw nothing wrong with what happened. I'm sure some of your kids have been trained by the media to be weak as well.

Two of my daughters friends are teachers at local high schools I ask the same question they said they had posters in the hallways .

Reed was arrested for drunk in public Aug 2019. He wasn’t sentenced until July 2020. How was trump supposed to negotiate his release when he hadn’t even been sentenced?? He was finally released April 2022. Took Biden nearly 2 years to get him released? Doesn’t seem like a priority to me.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was in the process of demanding more transparency when it comes to voting on bills. This vote to release Reed was swept up in a bunch of other bills and votes, not specifically a target to be delayed by her -

“When she got into Congress, she found that many times, voting was conducted by basically anonymous means, where the votes were counted but those who cast them did not have their names attached (recorded) with the vote. This enables our representatives to cast votes without our knowledge, which is antithetical to both transparency, representation, and basic good practice. Remove the marine from the equation all together. We traded a drug using professional basketball player for an International criminal and well known arms dealer.

I don't give a shit what either of them prefer sexually, the color of their skin, or even their nation of origin. That was one of the dumbest trades in the history of trades.

The Red Sox trading Babe Ruth to the Yankees for 125K was a pretty dumb trade. The Hershel Walker trade to the Cowboys didnt work out very well either. 🤔😃
