What are you guys using to light up out on front of your garage. Not fit the walls but Say for events or if you have to work on something in the driveway. Just put a new driveway to my back garage in.

I used twin head flood lights on 3 areas in the Frt yard, during winter we load up for desert trips in the dark Frt yard was all lit up neighbors loved it!

something like this work, mount them to the bottom of the garage eves in 2or 3 locations and have a switch inside the garage

I got tired of the homedepot crap, so I got these a few years back and added a RAB motion sensor. Got them at light bulbs etc I think.

I need to upgrade the fixture to an LED but these worked great for 25 years! I don’t use them very often more like task lighting, we sold the motor home and only do havasu so no more mid night loading up for a desert trip.

we were remodeling the house when I snapped these.

What happened between Justin Flecker and David Thorne is just plain hilarious, as David shared their email exchange over a dispute over a light.

If this is the Massanutten in Virginia, I spent a few months of my life living there while we were out there working. Nice area

Are you looking for warehouse/prison lights or something more Architectural?

I would like something that looks better than the old glope and big bulb fllod light. THe ring lights mentioned above as well as the industrial led above look descent.

I used LED lights off Ebay. At my previous place, I used the PIR (motion sensor) ones on each side of my garage. 50w LED's were PLENTY bright for just a driveway:

Here's the 50w LED on the left and the original 300w Halogen on the right.

At my new place, I used switched versions for my back yard. 2 x 100w LED on the side of the building, facing the yard and 3 x 50w LED's around the back and side. These pictures only show 2 on the back...but I didn't like the shadow from the swamp cooler and added a third in the middle later.

Need the same thing for my backyard so I could play bags, kubb or chip at night. I ran halogen landscaping lights on the same low voltage loop as the rest of the backyard but added a switch at the T. Everything was hidden and turned out great.

Took a little bit of testing each style of light to get the best coverage without blinding everybody else.
