Extended Swim Step on 29 Nordic Deck

Anyone have one? Pros or cons? Pics?

Buddy is putting in a order for a new one and debating on adding the extended swim step. I like the functionality of it but seems to be a bit of an eye sore with how big it is. Granted I've only seen one briefly in person.

Yes,
It's a must if you have with kids due to all the horsing around to keep them away from the Prop, Drive & Tabs.
The wife loves it and that's what really matters right.

It IS one of my favorite features on our Nordic. Wife and I hang on our rear deck often and without it it be no bueno.
The billet mounting brackets are 100× nicer than some chinsy polished stainless tubing others use.
Inadvertently it provides some safety too, the likeliness to kick tbe prop swimming behind boat is greatly reduced.

I think its a must-have. I'll be adding one to our boat shortly. Takes the drive completely out of the equation when swimming behind the boat.

Added 1 to my 260 RZR and love it. Only pic on water is not suitable to post. Makes a great dance platform for the ladies.

When I bought my Nordic a few years ago (used), it didn't have one. After going on a quick Nordic shop tour the wife and I noticed those swim platforms and had to have it. Talked with Thad and made the arrangements to get it done and I'm glad we did.

They quoted me $4500 when I first inquired on here few years back. Then at DS last year said $3500 in person. Eliminator wanted $5500 in there post about them. I went fiberglass $2200 two tone gel to match with new ladder. Money well spent at $3500.
