Did you even know that last month, May, was National Military Appreciation Month with it's conclusion being Memorial Day ?
Did the someone on TV bother to mention that ?
Did Bud Light produce a commemorative can for that ? NO, because nobody would have noticed. With scandal comes notoriety, just ask Trump how that works.

But then you see National Military Appreciation Month is shared with 17 other notable month long observances, where as LGBT Pride Month only shares with three other notables.
The reason I wrote notable is, for real there's somewhere around 100 of these damned observances for the month of June alone. Food, Art, Music, Health, our manly prostates, you name it, there's some damned month where it's an observance.

Each of these notables and all these damn near countless other observances only hold a meaning of any importance for those of us somehow affected by it. How many of us realized last Month was Melanoma Awareness Month ? Of obvious importance to some, of deep emotional importance to others, and to most of us, hell no I had no idea it was being observed.

LGBT Pride Month is a big F-in deal, because we're all helping to promote it. Ho Hum, another month long observance, if it wasn't for the media, 95% would pass and I'd never know it --- but boy, oh boy, thanks to all of us, I'm well aware of what's being observed this month.
