Just recently purchased and Everlast Typhoon 330 with the wireless pedal. Absolutely love it. I wanted the Miller dynasty 300 but at the price tag of $12500 it’s tough to swallow. This was 4k otd and it seems to be doing well for me.

I’ll be curious how it does long term. I need another workhorse and already have a dynasty 350 but don’t want to fork out another $18k.

Those welds look great. Definitely some proper prep!

Bad ass, what were you using before?
I have a miller syncrowave 350 for DC stuff and had a HTP 221 tig for AC. HTP blew up cause i ran it full tilt all the time.

We weld daily but its all flux core exterior pool fence and gates. We use one or all three Lincolns I own.
If I build a new gate from scratch in the shop then I have a Hobart that is rigged for mix. That machine makes those Lincoln's look like the front seat on the struggle bus.

I want to get into TIG however no use for condo repairs. That machine was a great price especially after seeing the end product.

I had a Miller-Multi-Matic years ago. Hated flux so I sold it. Likely shouldn't have.

Those are great. I follow Kristina Harris and she’s a big supporter so I gave it a shot. Love it

I have had the older model of this machine since 2015 (PowerTig 325ext). It has been a phenomenal machine, the Typhoon has some upgraded features and the LCD screen, i would definitely buy one for my next machine.

I was in the same boat back then looking at Dynasty 350s for 9k, or the Everlast for 3k. I have had no regrets buying the green box. I was also coming from the Syncrowave world, i have an old Syncrowave 300, it probably weighs 800-1000lbs, it's literally the size of a refrigerator. This little 40-50lbs inverter will weld circles around it, puts out more power, smoother in DC, way more punch in AC, plus all the wave form controls. No Brainer, you can't go back to a transformer machine after running one of these.

I run mine on 3phase, i believe the Typhoon is also 3 phase compatible.

Also Everlast's customer service is awesome, I got one of the very 325 machines when they came out, they had a power supply issue for the main logic board, it went out after like 6 months, i called their office in Oakland, the tech guy asked me if was comfortable opening the machine up, no problem, dropped shipped me the upgraded board, swapped them out in about 30 minutes. back in biz and saved me the time of shipping the machine to them.

I borrowed my friends 255 EXT and didn't like it cause the fan is on all the time. Then I heard about the Typoon with adjustable fan switch. Game changer for me.

Thats good to hear about the customer service. Miller kinda sucks to be honest.

The fan being on all the time can definitely suck if you are in a quiet shop. I have actually though about modifying mine to put the fan on a thermostat control.

I did modify my cooler to pump through two torches all the time that way i can keep an 18 and a 20 hooked up and switch back and fourth easily by just connecting the power lead and gas line, not messing with unplugging and draining hoses. I also modified the cooler with individual flow meters on each torch's return line so you can see that the water is actually flowing through each torch.

Does anyone on here have experience with any of the multi process units offered by Everlast? I have my eye on a Miller Multimatic 220 but want to see what Everlast offers that is comparable. It will be garage/hobby usage. Wanting to learn tig and would like AC/DC for aluminum.
