I’m having a great time lately debating/arguing with our 3 year old grand son.

Him: “This Mac and cheese is tasty”.
Me: “It’s delicious too”.
Him pretty serious: “No it’s tasty”.
Me: “It’s delicious”.
Him: “TASTY”!
Grammy: “ Why do you feel the need to argue with a 3 year old”?
Me: “ Shrugs shoulders” and laughs. 😆

My daughter couldn't have been more then 5 when she flipped the script on me. I had told her do something and she was dragging and complying, I told her to stop complaining and that we are not lazy in this family and to hurry up. A couple hours later (this on Sunday) watching football, and I am being totally lazy, it's the only day Ill chill on the couch, she asked me to go out side on play, I told her not right now, I am relaxing and watching the game, she said, Dad were not lazy in this family.... I got up and played outside with her lol.

Before her Mom or I could stop her--she turned around and said "Its ok to say that-cause were at the river"
I mean...ok., , I guess???

I heard a new word the other day.... "goon"

Who cums up with this stuff. :D
Weird rabbit hole time.

goon

Well-known slang term in sexual subculture of chronic and compulsive masturbators, used both as a verb and a noun. Means achieving the trance-like blissful state reached when riding the edge of cumming for as long as possible, perhaps many minutes or even hours at a time. Also denoting the absence of control, compulsively pursuing that feeling as a avid masturbator. The term has been in frequent use for at least ten years, perhaps emerging from the physical look of one who is "gooning" or "in the goon," which is a self-possessed, glassy eyed stare of stupidity (thus, an oaf). Also known as "bator mush" and "slain in the bate."
There I was, stroking for hours, and I was into the goon so deep that a bomb could have gone off next door, and I would not have noticed.

Whenever we masturbate together, I like to watch him goon on his penis ... he really gets into it.

This was my first thought of the "meaning".

goon

Wow, you guys have no clue. "Goon" is gang terminology for a low level gang member (fyi, gangs have a hierarchy). These low level gang members are usually the street drug runners who work for a boss that is much less visible than them. For this reason certain things are implied in a goon's responsibilities : the goon's are more visible so they "take the fall" for their bosses if some transactions were discovered by police - the goon would take the arrest and never snitch on his boss. The boss (usually much older ) would usually bail the goon out of prison if he should be caught on a job. The boss keeps himself as far away from the "prosecutable action" as possible (see young joc's ref to this when he says "keep my hands clean cause I never touch dope" ). For this purpose of taking the fall, goons are usually preferred to be younger and are often under 18 (to avoid having to be charged/serve time as an adult if caught). Another purpose other than deals is carrying out hits - the goon will never admit who he works for - this helps so that if he is suspected for a murder, it's hard to prove because there is no motive. In a gang organization (fyi gangs are organizations for organized crime just like the mophia, they just don't get that same dark honor for... some reason). This is what is being referred to in Plies's song when he says "born a real nigga, but I'mma die a goon".
And by lil wayne in "A mille" when he says, "I go by them goon rules: if you can't beat'm then you drop'm". FYI Plies, lil wayne, bird man, and gucci man are all Bloods (see lil wayne's verse in shory lo's "they know" remix when he says, "Su-Wu gang, and if you aint wit it then you in the food chain.." (su-wu is a term for blood gang members).
I'm a real goon - I'll die for my boss and die before I snitch.

goon

1. A thug
2. An ice hockey player with no useful skills other than to try and kill people. Typically a horrible puck handler and skater.
3. An ugly (either aesthetically or personality wise) guy who is with a much hotter girl that he doesn't deserve.
3. "Hey, check out that girl. Why the hell is she with that goon??"
"Must be her retarded brother."

goon

A tough hired by a company to intimidate union members or strikers; a member of a "goon squad" or private corporately paid guards.

Also any hired thug used for purposes of intimidation.
"You had better stop making trouble or I'll send my goons after you.

The word has been around a long time. I guess it would be the context in which you heard the "NEW" word.

Apparently it’s the urban slang being used in school. I thought it was an abbreviation of the movie goonies.

Wow, first docking and now this!
The only alternative I knew to goon was one I first heard after I started with the RR. Someone sent me a clip of a crew caller talking to a drunk guy. It's a real call. He uses 'gooned' at about the 1m10s mark.

I’ve told this story on here a few times but it’s always funny.

My daughter and I were walking through a hospital visiting a family member. She’s 15 years old now so she was probably around 8 or 9 years old at the time.

On the wall of the hospital lobby was a pay phone. She looked at me and said, “Dad, what’s that thing?” Pointing at the pay phone.

I explain what it is and what it’s called and how it works.

No joke she stops me and pauses. Like one of those uncomfortable pauses and I can tell she’s processing and trying to work out in her head what was so easy for me to grasp having grown up in a pay phone era but isn’t so easy for someone who’s never seen a pay phone before.

Now I’m intrigued at what she’s about to say as it’s pretty difficult to see a kid at that age so deep in thought so the anticipation is killing me.

Finally she responds in a brat like way, “why would anyone ever need to use something like that?!?!”

It dawned on me right then that I’m raising a spoiled brat 😂. She believes that every person in society has access to a cell phone and that money grows on trees lol

Talk about a pendulum swing of parenting from that moment and I made a big change in how I was raising this human.

Fast forward to today and she has a solid grasp on economics and has a pretty good little online business of pedaling vintage clothing and about $18k in her bank account of solely her own earned income. Not bad for a 15 year old with a homeschool education lol

That was a wild parenting moment for me and changed a lot for our family lol
