I've only ever seen 4 of these in direct drive. There's a blue one and red one in Parker and a grey one in Havi and the Pink Taco. They only made them for a few years in the late 80s. Most of them were small blocks, but the Taco was rigged with and Indmar 454.
They're nice little boats and are great for skiing or wake boarding behind [emoji106]

My uncle had a blue one. Great boat, only downside was slalom skiing the wake was rock hard

We owned a 1986 Eliminator Monaco. It was a 21', open bow with a 454 direct drive. This was our first boat, sold it to a guy who goes to Parker in 2011. Great boat, lots of room, except hopping over the engine, and would pull your arms off. No top end to speak of though, 55 +/-, however cut right through the Havasu chop having the engine in the middle. uploadfromtaptalk1411508242070.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1411508254316.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1411508261192.jpg

I have kicked the idea of selling the Taco around a bit this year...

The bottom is somewhat round at the transom, was the same bottom as a 20 Sport.
I don't remember now but I guess it is possible they did some kind of insert for the direct/V-drive units.

Shueman here might be able to pick Bob's brain on the details?

To me this looks like a 19' spectra or splash of it.

No the bottom is not flat. It's not a classic style tournament boat. The hull is a 207 Skier the same as they typically use a stern drive application on. Easy on the pink sux stuff buddy! [emoji16] Let me ask you something... Are you married?

Cole, that is an Eliminator Formula 19. It's actually from the Spectra mold not a splash. This one is pretty cool as they didn't make many V-drives. Just saw it last weekend at the Billy B's show.

You learn something new everyday Tom. I knew eliminator laid at least one up for Gilbreath, never knew they sold them as Eliminators. That mold got around, Eliminator, Rayson, and Hallett all laid up boats from that mold.

And Crusader as well! I had a '93 Eliminator Formula. Nice little boat. I'd own another for sure!

1985 Ski Eliminator - New Motor - Only 4 hours on it. 350 Chevy 4 bolt main marine motor with 300 HP. Rebuilt 4 Bbl. Carb. Motor has a 7 year warranty. All new custom interior installed last winter, reglassed floors, all new seat structures, foam etc. Custom Eliminator logos on the seat backs. New stereo system with Kenwood deck with Bluetooth capability and 4 J.L. Audio speakers and sub (sounds great). Teak swim step, dual batteries, bimini top, Competitive dual axle trailer that was also refinished over last winter with all new bunks, LED lighting and paint. 2 covers, one is a snap cover and the other is a full cover. Boat is in nice condition for being almost 30 years old and with everything redone, all it needs is a new owner. We will only consider reasonable offers in person. Compare this to what else is on CL at this price and you won't have this quality of a boat. If the ad is up, it is still available. I will not respond to emails asking if it is.

Back in the late 80's I went to the Mike Suyderhoud Waterski School at Lake Shasta and he used the Eliminator tournament ski boat. That boat was a lot of fun..

Went there Around 1980, they had a big German instructor that the old tournament boats couldn't pull fast enough for him to barefoot so we pulled him with our 16' outboard with a 200.
Did a day lesson and went back for a 3-4 day, I was 16 or 17. Good times

That thing is cool! Crazy to see these boats coming out of the woodwork. I still own the Taco, but she's for sale and in need of a new interior. Just bought this one last season...
