Looks like a true tunnel hull being roughed out at Eliminator?

Makes more sense now...still looks like it will handle some big water though.

It’s the new 118 30, there are orders in for the first 9. A 118 deck boat version set up for outboards will also be made from that plug.

With a center walk out the rear? If so that sounds like the missing link

So, you have to put it on its side to trailer?

If my memory is right for CA. Had to research this back in my helping Ultra out days when JW still owned it.
Under 9 you are OK
9 to 10.6 you need an annual permit
Over 10.6, you need to file trip permits and have restrictions

8.5 to 12 ft you can pull with an annual trip permit.... after 12ft you need to start filing routes and will be required to use pilot cars.

I ran a 12ft wide program for a couple yrs... 90 bucks a year to cal trans is all it takes.

the center pods helps with getting on plane and porpoising. it can always be deleted if someone really wanted it without. I talked to outlaw boat transport and he said an annual permit is $90 a year will have you covered for towing within California.
