I was wondering the same thing. Took the Tres class with the family of that red and white 40 in January. Saw the boat run that summer, then up for sale shortly thereafter.Such a bad ass boat. Dave any idea as to why both recent 40 speedsters that have been finished have gone up for sale months after completion. The orange one with 1350s and now this one? I know it came up for sale end of last season.

Just a surmise, boat probably cost 650-750 to build.
Market has indications things could soften and they realize that's a lot of change to put back into their piggy bank.
Dono but maybe
I had that same question too. Never really saw a write up/evaluation of either boat tooSuch a bad ass boat. There was also a lot of big claims, then they did the boat eval with the orange one and nothing ever came out it went up for sale shortly after the evals.I had that same question too. Never really saw a write up/evaluation of either boat too
I cant speak to the Orange boat , BUT this boat is for sale simply because we are able to expand our destinations. I spent 2+ years involved in building this boat . I was at the factory daily . LONG story shorter is in that 2 yrs we bought a couple pontoons to get us out on the water. We also did a bit of traveling and we found that there is actually other places in the country that offer some great boating..( I know,Weird huh) ..... We want to include some South Florida in our lives and want to have a more purpose built boat for that. Thats the why its for sale... If I was locked into Havasu/Mohave/Powell I likley wouldn't be selling.Such a bad ass boat. It works Great!!! we also have a 2nd one for the back . Throws some shade over the water when floatin or hangin out.The umbrella in the floor thing is slick and looks like it works pretty well! Really like that boat.
Yep . Discovered South Florida , Didn't realize what we've been missing ....@JFMFG @prkrvr619 with the orange one I had asked. Was because he wanted a smaller boat to match another boat he had.
The owner of this boat is on here don’t know his sn. He was posting on insta a couple months back driving mtis.
Yes we did... That was a thank you to the team at Eliminator... When you spend that much time with people you get to know them a bit more that just as the Interior guy or the Gel coat guy etc etc... It was better than 25 pizzas and a couple bottles of soda@Thunderhead1 yeah I even saw you sent the in n out truck to the factory.
Why do you say havasu/mohave/ Powell boat care to share?
Sounds like a twin OB cat is what you need! Running thru Biscayne Bay and down thru the mangroves to Key Largo is pretty cool especially in Jan/Feb when the rest of the country is all bundled up.Yes we did... As as far as the 3 lakes ,That's just my personal view on the West coast Boating scene and my motivation when building this boat... I suppose I left off Mead lets make it 4. If you spend some time on the East coast you will some differences in manufacturing and design. The main players out here (Eliminator, Nordic, Howard etc. etc.) are not building boats to cross the open ocean to the Bahamas . That is now on my list of shit to do... along with runnin around in the Keys of Florida a few months a year.

Likely a Bic CC but leaving the options open f... If you havn't gone to the Miami boat show or The Ft Lauderdale boat show , you really should add that to your things to do.@Thunderhead1 thanks for the response man!
So cc is next? Or a fast bass boat?
I took a ride in one of those and am pretty impressed with them...Sounds like a twin OB cat is what you need! Running thru Biscayne Bay and down thru the mangroves to Key Largo is pretty cool especially in Jan/Feb when the rest of the country is all bundled up.
More reason to explore the Big blue a bit... as well as a desalinization machine in the house. It’s only two lakes really because Powell and Mead are going to be dry wasteland soon.
Looking at going to the BiG CAT poker run, I havn't spent much time on the delta but would like to get some more experience for sure! You can try the delta. You are not confined there.
Can we ask what is next boat wise for FL?
