Elevator, Stair Chair or Floor Lift - Any advice?

I live in a 2 story house in Vegas and have elderly inlaws that are having issues with the stairs. I will soon be there myself I fear. Has anybody had any experience, good or bad with these devices. Relocating to a single story is a posability but we love our hause and don't want to move.

No first floor bedroom or something that could be converted?

Thr more you use them, the more you need them.

Buy used if you can.

A home elevator is a little bigger than you probably expect but are very common . If you need a number for a guy who installs them I can get you one . I don't know if he goes to Vegas or not .

Have had a house with an elevator and one with the stair chair and of course the elevator is WAY better
for the chair it depends on the width of the stairs, the house we have now is barley wide enough and using it is a big pain.
plus for my father in law that needs it he feels depressed using the chair but the elevator never seemed to bother him

I can tell you this you will spend over 10,000 on one and if you don't like or it's not needed any more it will be worth about zero I know from experience with that .i took it apart and stored it in the garage until the wife and I may need it
