EDIT: Found boat, thanks all!

Im considering moving to a 22'-25' closed bow boat. Something in good shape and turn-key, with a big block and bravo drive, can handle some chop. Something from the early/mid 90s to end of 00s is probably in my budget range. Open to any make really but I like the Eliminator Eagle XP line, such as the 236. Also like the Laveycraft 21 XCS, Advantage Citation, Nordic Rage, that type of boat, etc. Prefer something with a lil cuddy for when the kids want to get out of the sun. Im located in NorCal but will travel as far south as SoCal. Message if you have anything!

Thanks, Dog. Thinking about sticking to a fully enclosed bow though.

This might be above your budget, but I would add a DCB 24 Extreme to the list. There is one on facebook, $42k in Havasu, timeless gel design. Looks really nice.

I just sold my closed bow Ultra 23xs, and I loved that boat except for the fact it didn't have a molded in swim step. I hate hate hated those billet platforms. It was really a fun boat to drive, but admittedly probably too light to handle heavy chop. It was not what I would consider fun driving through a rough afternoon on havasu. If I had kids, a swim step would be mandatory, and I'd probably even consider one of those huge add-on platform deals.

This 22 Extreme has been for sale for a while and is up near you. Beautiful boat, but the no swim stem would be a deal breaker for me personally.

I wouldn't count out a Baja either....

Damn, yeah that 24' DCB is real nice and perfect for what I need, but beyond my budget.

I have seen the 22' online as well but maybe a bit too small under the bow. Havent seen one in person though to get a real feel for the under-bow space. I agree with you though, full length swim step is desired.

Maxed out has a 236 closed bow with a 454. I think he just dropped the price to 26k

That's a really clean boat, I looked at it a little over a year ago. I got a 250 Eagle instead that has the 502.

The 21 Lavey Craft acts like a much bigger boat and there are two for sale right now. I ran mine to Catalina a bunch.

I have a formula 271 closed deck in getting ready to list. 502 mag, freshwater only boat with full cabin, sink, toilet, bed and freshwater system.

Going to list at 24k

That Formula looks mint but probably more boat than I want. The 220xp and that 21XCS look great too but maybe not big enough down below. Im thinking the Eagle 236 model is looking good so far. Has that step down into the bunk below for more space it seems.

I will say that the formula is a heavy boat, great in big water but will have more fuel burn than some of the smaller options

Here you go. Very spacious cabin and a wave crusher! Dropped to $39,900.
